I particularly like adapted world maps that display a certain set of figures in relation to the rest of the world. I like the fact you can make comparisons for yourself, taking your own initiative and interpreting the information on your own.
Above is an example of a set of data being transformed into a infographic so that the information is easier to take in and allow the viewer to compare across a given region.
The nature of design is changing, viewers are now users, therefore audience interpretation is everything. It is essential that the information is clear and concise. The idea of taking a set of data and creating something equally as important displaying that information in a different form really interests me, it leaves room for the viewer to interpret the information for themselves.
