My academic progress / results so far:
We haven’t actually had firm results back yet for either of the modules, however Lee said I was doing really well so far in Tools and Systems, and if I buckle down I could get a first. I was really happy with this as thats always been my aim I was never sure if I had the skill to do that well.

My reflection on my progress:
I think so far I’ve been performing quite well, I’ve really tried to concentrate on the modules this year but after with a job sometimes it’s hard to balance the two, but I think I’ve been doing it alright. I’ve tried to get used to blogging often because last year I didn’t do it nearly enough so as so much lies on the blog I want to really show off my skill set.

My time management skills:
on a scale of 1 to 10, I would say my time management skills are:

Reasons: I do get everything done in the end, I’m just really bad at planning out my time, work and uni take up most of my time but that’s alright, I just do work in the spare time that I have, but as I don’t have that much it gives me an incentive to work harder and more efficiently in the time that I do have.

My confidence and competence:
on a scale of 1 to 10, I perceive my confidence and competence to be:

Reasons: I’m not very confident in my work, I’m not sure why. I think last year knocked my confidence, because looking back I didn’t try that hard and the results showed, but at the time I didn’t really understand.

My action plan plan:
(action plans are more effective when they are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-bound – S>M>A>R>T)
My  action plan would consist of mainly time management things. I want to make smaller more achievable goals to both motivate myself, and to make sure that I can get all my work done before deadlines.

    Becoming opportunity aware
    Read for 30 mins a week something from: Eye magazine, creative review, digital arts, design observer blog.
