Colours. Why is every better at this. This company have a much larger range for people to pick from, however, they have similar colours to sanitary owl (kind of). They have used a neutral background of brown on their website


Sanitary owl also want to use minimal colour however the Period Store use it to their advantage. At the minute SO can only afford to print in black and white but their original logo was blue. Due to them using different tampons brands with such bright colours I want to use that to their advantage and instead of linking a colour to their identity, keep the minimalism of black, and then the tampon packaging can add splashes of colour to the packaging with out clashing with it. I want to use the blue in my prototype but putting blue tissue paper in the box. Its a nice touch and would finish off the packaging, and bring it to life a bit.
